Introducing Kampot at The Audo—a new French-Asian kitchen serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Through a collaboration between hybrid space The Audo and restaurant group Madkastellet, Nordhavn welcomes Kampot—a new all-day eatery serving up colourful French-Asian cuisine. Kampot at The Audo is a lively new scene for eating, drinking and communing with friends within The Audo’s elegant, mixed-use indoor and outdoor spaces. Kampot’s easy atmosphere welcomes guests to two distinct areas—the Salon is a lived-in setting for breakfast, coffee, light lunch and snacks, while the Bistro invites guests to book a table for a la carte or degustation dinners as well as small plates, sweets and an extensive drinks list.

The menu celebrates the playfulness, spice and fresh tastes of South East Asia with dishes built on high quality local seasonal produce and traditional French cooking finesse. In the Salon, guests can start their day with classic French pastries or coconut chia pudding. For lunch, Kampot offers a daily farmer’s salad or Vietnamese bánh mì sandwich. Snacks are plentiful—among them are French comté cheese with kumquat and ginger jam or chicken crackers with tomato powder. The Salon transitions into a bar in the afternoons, with refreshing beers, natural wines and Kampot cocktails all on offer.

In the dedicated Bistro space, the dining experience balances casual and formal with seating indoors or out in the beautiful courtyard. The menu is generous with snacks and small plates such as citrus infused green peaches, fjord shrimp with kimchi dip, duck yakitori and crab bisque with lime. The mains on Kampot at The Audo’s menu mark the crescendo of French-Asian fusion—classic French culinary craftsmanship merges with the crisp scents and textures of Asian cuisine in dishes like haddock ‘en papilotte’, blue mussels with rice wine and fresh chili, grilled Iberico with five spice and BBQ beef short ribs with ginger. Sweets such as a parfait of rhubarb with vanilla miso or strawberries with white chocolate and lavender are difficult to pass up, as are the vibrant cocktails.

Kampot at The Audo are opens for bookings. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are served daily in the Salon from 8-18. At the Bistro, dinner and drinks are served from 18-23 Wednesday through Saturday.
